What is GFCI?
A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) can help prevent electrocution. It a person’s body starts to receive a shock, the GFCI senses this and cuts off the power before he/she can get injured.
GFCis are generally installed where electrical circuits may accidentally come into contact with water. They are most often found in kitchens, bath and laundry rooms, outdoors and garages.

How Do I Fix A Stuck GFCI Outlet?
- Try toggling the Test and Reset buttons in order to fix a stuck GFCI Outlet.
- In most cases, GFCI outlets will last for around 15-25 years. In some circumstances, they can wear out in as little as 5 years.
